Bugøufisk
was a trawler built by Ejnar S. Nielsen Mekaniske Verksted
AS in Harstad as yard number 25, and was delivered in June
1976 to the Norwegian company Bugøyfisk AS in Vardø. She
had a rather short career in the fishing industry, and ran
aground near Makkaur lighthouse 6. January 1978. She slid
of the rocks the following day and sank in deep
waters. The wreck was written of as a total loss due
to her depth. According to reports from technical divers
the wreck rest today on a depth of 60 to 70 meter.
