Eurostadt

Malkah
was a tanker built in Hamburg in Germany and launched in
1923. She was sold in 1935 to the company Europaiche Tanklanger &
Transport AG in Hamburg and was renamed Eurostadt. She
was sunk by a torpedo outside Berlevåg 17.May 1943. The Norwegian
SFTs survey report from the wreck in 1996 state that the
wreck rest in open water east of Berlevåg outside
Naalneset on a depth of approx 45 to 66 meter. The wreck
is broken up in three parts and has significant damage
after the sinking in 1943.
