Nor 29


Georgine de Hoop was originally from Holland, but was confiscated by the German Kriegsmarine in second world war. She was renamed Nor 29 and put in Kriegsmarine service in the northern waters. She was sunk by Royal air force Lancaster airplanes 15.September 1944 under an attack against the German battleship Tirpitz that laid at anchor in Kåfjord. The wreck rest today on a depth of approx 28 to 35 meter outside Strømmen.
