The
Lithuanian trawler Krasnoselsk sank 25. December 2011
while she laid at anchor at the pier in Hundeidvik between
Storfjorden and Hjørundfjord. She sank on a depth of 5 to
20 meter right outside the pier. In December 2014 the oil
was removed from the wreck, and in the autumn 2017 it was
decided to move the wreck approx 50 meter further out from
the pier to deeper waters to clear the pier for other
ships. According to the local newspapers this operation
was successful, and the wreck now rest on a depth of 25 to
30 meter outside the same pier.
