Remito was on a journey from Midsund to England with a crew of four men and was loaded with 3600 barrels of fish when she suddenly lost all it's electricity outside Stålholmen on Stadt in the afternoon 1.June 1994. She drifted in towards Stålholmen and according to the skipper the impact was so heavy that the ship bell fell down and was washed over board. The remains of Remito rest today in shallow waters according to divers from the dive club Ægir.
