Gallic Stream


Gallic Stream was built by Batservice Verft In Norway and launched in 1971 for Kristian Jebsen in London. She was sold to Gallic Estates Ltd in 1974, and under a journey from Svelgen to Stjernøy she hit ground 14.January 1975 on Bremnesodden at Hamarøy During the journey Gallic Stream got engine problems and drifted out of control onto the reefs.The crew of fourteen men were rescued with helicopter after the accident and flown to Bodø. The day after Gallic Stream slipped of the reef and sank. Today the remains of her rest on a depth of 5 to 30 meter.
