Oslo
VI was one of oldest passenger ferries owned by
Oslofergene AS. Under
one of her regular journeys to the islands with
passengers, she collided with M/S Achat outside Langøya in
1993. She quickly started to sink after the collision, and
soon all the passengers had to jump in the water. One
passenger was injured in the accident and died later in
hospital. The wreck rest today approx 30 meters outside
the southwest end of the Rambergøya on a depth of 25 to 35
meter.
