Olof

Olof was built in Gothenburg in Sweden and was launched in 1882. Under a journey from Trondheim to Halmstad loaded with pyerite 29.March 1917 she stopped in Kopervik harbor and anchored up. While she laid at anchor outside the harbor she was rammed by the steamer Maj and sank in less than five minutes. The wreck was found in 1990 and rest today on her keel as a classic Donald Duck wreck on a depth of 35 to 45 meter at the approach to Kopervik outside Treborg.
