Focke
Wullf 56 Stösser was designed as a training airplane for
the German air force, and over a thousand were produced
from 1935 until the end of second world war. The remains
of a FW 56 rest today on a depth of 20 meter at Sauholmen
west of Kragerø. According to the rumors, this airplane
supposedly did an emergency landing in the winter time and
was later sunk by the Norwegian resistance movement Milorg
in 1944-1945.
