Lahella II


The ferry Masnedsund was built at Svendborg Skibsværft as yard#33 and launched in May 1928 for the company Dampskipselskabet Rødby Havn AS. She did service in Langesund and Northern Norway in second world war, and was in 1961 sold to Norway and put in serivce as Lahella II. After seven years in service as a county ferry in Møre she was rigged down to a barge and sold to a new owner in Kristiansand. She was chartered by Kruse Smith Entrepenør in Kragerø and probably sunk there during work or laid up. Today she rest in Snekkevika outside Kragerø on a depth of 20 meter.
