Vibran II

The
steamer Vibran was built in Rosendal in Norway and was
launched in August 1891. She changed owners several times
in her career and was renamed to Vibran II in 1935. After
many years in service, she was meant to be scrapped, but
was instead rigged down to a barge and used for another 24
years. While she laid at anchor in Skien she sank at the
pier where she was moored up in 1959. The wreck is still
there, well buried in the mud inside the harbor.
