Transport who might be better known under her former name Landanes, ended her days at Svartskjær outside Harstad 6.April 1983. Built in 1914 in Tønsberg, she had a long career and changed names several times with a myriad of tasks.
First she was used as a whaler until 1925 and was thereafter used as a coastal freighter in Peru. Then a longer period followed as a whaler again from 1928 to 1937. She was then rebuilt and used as a passenger ship until the Germans requisitioned her in second world war. She served as a guard boat in Stavanger for several years, and after the war ended, she again was put in service as a passenger ship. In 1955 she was rebuilt again at Fredrikshavn as a freighter. In 1981 she was finally taken out of service. Shee was scuttled at Svartskjær in 1983, and the wreck rest today on a depth of approx 80 meter.
