The steam trawler Volksdorf was built by Norddeutche Werft in Kiel, and was launched in 1917 for the company Nordsee Deutsche Hochseefischerei. She was used in the fishing industry in The North Sea and Northern Norway. After a accident where they hit ground at Engenes on Christmas eve 1933, they managed to refloat and break her free, but she soon started to sink and had to be abandoned later that same day. The wreck rest today standing on her keel as a classic Donald Duck wreck on a depth of 45-50 meter.
