The
Norwegian M-315 was built by Westermoen
Båtbyggeri & Mekaniske Verksted AS in Mandal, and
was launched in 1955 as a Saude class minesweeper. She
was delivered to the Norwegian navy in March the same
year. She had a straightforward career with no notable
events. After decades of service named KNM Ogna she
was stricken from the navy lists in April 1979. She
was sold for scrapping and sank outside Hoddøya in the
late 1990s. Today
the wreck rest on her keel on a depth of 2 to 20
meter west in Håkilen on Statland.
