Bjarke

The Danish motor vessel Bjarke was on a journey from Gdynia in Poland to Kristiansand in Norway with a cargo of coal when she stranded at Grønningen 3.April 1948. The crew on board who counted 25 men got in the lifeboats after the accident and rowed in to Kristiansand. Bjarke sank a while later and was written of as a total loss. The wreck rest today at Grønningen on a depth of 15 to 42 meter.
