Steinbjørn
was built at Lühring Schiftswerft in Germany, and was
launched in January 1954 for the Norwegian company Inger
AS. Little is known about the history of this ship, except
that she changed owners and names several times. In April
1985 she sank after a collision with the motor vessel
Satko outside Lindesnes. The wreck rest today on a depth
of 45 to 60 meter between Mandal and Lindesnes.
