The steamer Coaster drifted without an engine and ran aground at Svartskjær outside Tjølling 18.December 1945. The ship was on a journey from Sandefjord to Larvik loaded with soy flour. They managed to throw out the anchor but rough sea resulted in that the chain broke. She partly sank while they waited for a rescue vessel. The wreck was abandoned, and was left alone partly submerged. According to an official report she broke in tow parts in the late 1940s and was no longer visible on the surface. According to local divers the remains of her rest today on a depth of approx 15 meter.
