Vestland,Norway

Atlas was a cargo steamer built by Wood Skinner & Comppany Ltd in Nelgand, and was launched 1900. She was delivered in March that same year to Aksjeselskapet Atlas in Arendal. Not much is known about her short career, and under a journey from England to Trondheim loaded with coal she hit ground after a pilot navigational error and sank outside Huglo 7. February 1913. The wreck rest today on a depth of 145 meter southwest of Rossbøneset.
