Helene Jensen


Charles was built as a coastal freighter by Scheepswerf Foxhol in Holland, and was launched in 1931. After a couple of transfers and names, she ended up in Riskov in Denmark under the name Helene Jensen in 1969. She ran aground at Nyleia after an navigational error 11. March 1980 and sank. The wreck rest today standing on her keel as a classic Donald Duck wreck with a slight listing on a depth of approx 12 to 40 meter, southwest of Tangableika outside Stord.
