Sotra

Vestland,Norway

Sotra was built  in Bergen in 1903 and had through her career seventeen different owners. She doesn't have an exciting story, as she was mostly used in coastal transport with a straightforward and uneventful career. In the early 1990`s she ran aground and went down in the deep at Bøvågen outside Radøy. The wreck rest today on a depth of approximately 10 to 20 meter on the east side of the reef, some two hundred meters from shore outside the marina at Bøvågen.
