Boomerang

Viken,Norway

The barque Bomerang was on a journey from Bristol to Fredrikstad when she hit ground on Nordre Søster 26. December 1896. According to some historical sources, she was "broken down in the deep". This particular place has been the cause for many ship losses, and identifying the few scattered remains are a difficult task. Old wreck debris can be seen spread out on depths down to approximately 20 meter.
