Gykdenløve I

Gyldenløve
was built at Drammen Jernstøberi & Mekaniske Verksted,
and was launched in 1907. She stood ready for service in
March the same year and was delivered to the owner Joseph
Johansen in Drammen. She was used in regular route between
the cities of Drammen and Kristiania. Outside Fagerstrand
16.November 1950 on her way to Drammen, she collided in
fog with M/V Tijuca and sank. The wreck has not officially
been found, but divers claimed however in the early 2000s
they had found a wreck that could have been her on a depth
of approximately 50 meter. Also see Lux that sunk near Fagerstrand in
