Svein 1

Anna IV was built in Larvik by an unknown builder, and was launched in 1932 for the Norwegian owner Ingemar Martinsen in Larvik. She was sold and re-measured in the late 1930's to 50 gross tons and renamed to Svein 1. She sailed for the company Skips AS in Horten until she went down outside Moss city 16.November 1944. She was requisitioned by the Germans to deliver gas in Oslo, and set sail in the morning. Not long after she hit a mine and sank. Two men of the crew lost their lives in the accident. The wreck was in official reports sold to new owners in Horten city in 1949, but it seems obvious they never did anything with the wreck. The remains her was found by sports divers from Moss Undervannsklubb in 2008 at Gullholmen outside Jeløy in shallow waters.
