Svein 1


Anna IV was built in Larvik and launched in 1932 for the Norwegian owner Ingemar Martinsen in Larvik. She was re-measured to 50 gross tons in 1938, and the year after renamed Svein 1. She then sailed for the company Skips AS in Horten. She sank at Gullholmen outside Moss 16.November 1944. She was requisitioned by the Germans to deliver gas in Oslo, and sailed in the morning on a mine and sank. Two men of the crew perished in the accident. The remains of Svein 1 was found by divers from Moss Undervannsklubb in 2008 outside Gullholmen.
