British Sergeant

The
steam tanker British Sergeant was built by Palmers
Shipbuilding in Newcastle, and was launched in 1922 for
the British Tanker Company in London. She was sunk
together with four other ships under a Japanese air raid
against Ceylon 9.April 1942. The battered wreck rest today
on a depth of approximately 10 to 25 meter at Pasikudah.
