HTMS Chang


HTMS Chang was a former American LST landing craft vessel that did service in both the second world war and the Korea was in the 1950's. During her service for the US Navy she received six Battle Stars. She was sold to Thailand in 1962 where she did service until late 2006. After initiative between the Thai Navy and private companies, it was decided to sink her as an artificial reef and dive attraction. She was scuttled 22.November 2012, and rest today southwest of the island of Koh Chang on a depth of approximately 5 to 30 meter.
