Nanoyo Maru was a refrigerated cargo freighter built by Kanawa Dock Company in Japan. She was launched in 1967, and delivered to Okuda Gyogyo KK in Shiyogama the same year. She was extensively used in Asian water chartered by ESSO, and was in 1972 sold to Liquefied Gas Carriers Ltd in Australia and renamed Pacific Gas. She was taken out of service in the early 1980's in Port Moresby, and after some delays and uncertain business proposals, she was handed over to Tropical Diving Adventures and rigged down. She was towed out of harbor and deliberately scuttled 15. October 1986 southeast of Port Moresby, and rest today on her keel on a depth of 18 to 43 meter at Horseshoe Reef.
