The Turkish container ship Medy had a rather hairy history, and was several times been held back in several ports for various reasons, or got in problems due to lack of maintenance or technical problems. Under a journey from Romania to Turkey she got problems and developed a listing outside the Romanian coast 1.September 2010. Attempts to assist and rescue her were made, but around noon she disappeared in the deep. The wreck rest today on her port side on a depth of 20 to 35 meter southeast of Constanta.
