Sadu was built in Braila in Romania at Santierul Naval, and was launched in 1976  for the company IEFM Navrom in Constanta. After a journey from Galati to Constanta in ballast she shipwrecked under a storm 2.December 1988. She laid at anchor in the harbor but due to bad weather and rough seas she sought cover behind the break water. Unfortunately she drifted and crashed into the break water, where she sank a few hours later. Only seven men of the crew survived the accident. The wreck rest today on her starboard side on a depth of 21 meter. Also see the wreck of You Xiu.
