Abdi Kolotoglu was built at Anadolu Shipyard in Turkey, and was launched in 1975. She changed owners several times in her career, and in 1987 she got the doubtful honor of being taken in custody in Spain when the police found narcotics on board. In 1996 she got her last owner in Istanbul, the company Arzu Denizcilik ve Ticaret and was renamed Yasar Kaptan. On a journey to Tulcea 29.September 2001 she got into distress and went down. The crew had time to abandon ship and was rescued soon after. The wreck was found in 2018 on a depth 50 meter east of Constanta.
