You Xiu

You Xiu was a bulk carrier laid down at Hakodate Dock Company Ltd in Japan, and was launched in 1992. After launch she was registered to a company in Panama. The exact date and year is not clear, but she was operated later by the company Lee Shipping Ltd in Hong Kong. While she laid at anchor in Constanta 4. January 1995 after a journey from Venice, she drifted under a gale into the breakwater in the harbor. Later that same evening she went down with all hands lost. The wreck rest today on her port side on a depth of approximately 20 to 25 meter at the northern breakwater. Also see the history of Paris.
