Trinwillershagen was a general cargo ship built by VEB Elbewerft for the German company VEB DeutscheSeerederei. SHe spent her time sailing in the Baltic Sea until she was sold to Deutsche Seereederei Rostock GmbH in 1991.The year after she was sold to Petalan Sg CC, and then to Franks Shipping Agency in Kingston and started her regular route as a cargo freighter in the Carribean. After years being laid up idle, the owner volunteered her to the Grenada Tourism Authority. In association with the Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association and the Grenada Scuba Diving Association, they raised the funds required for cleaning and scuttle her as an artificial reef. She went down in the deep at Purple Rain reef 21. March 2018 and rest today on her starboard side on a depth of 30 meter at Grand Anse Bay.
