British Virgin Islands,Caribbean

Seujo Maru No. 1 was a refrigerated cargo ship laid down by Kanasashi Zosensho, and was launched in 1960. She was sold in 1980 to International Caribbean Shipping and started sailing under the name Chikuzen. She was put on fire intentionally outside Maartens but drifted for four days before she disappeared in the deep outside British Virgin Islands 15. August 1981. The hurricane Irma broke the wreck in two parts, and her mid ship is now pretty much broken up. The stern and bow section rest today on a depth of 15 to 23 meter between Anegada and Tortula.
