Erato IV was laid down as a sail logger in Holland  in 1916. Her early history is rather clouded in mystery, but she changed names and owners several times before she ended being laid up in Grenada in the in the 1990's under the name Hildur. The half sunken wreck was re-floated and pulled out of the harbor due to construction of a new pier in 2007. She was deliberately scuttled as an artificial reef and dive attraction in July that same year. The wreck rest today on her keel outside St. George harbor on a depth of 33 to 38 meter in Grand Mal Bay.
