Superior Producer F.A


Andromeda was laid down by MaatschappijKramer & Booy NV in Holland, and was launched in October 1957.
She was sold to Pan Ven Line SA in 1970 and renamed to Superior Producer F.F and put in regular service with transporting goods between Curaqua and Venezuela. 30.September 1977 she laid at anchor in Curaqua harbor loaded with whiskey, perfume and other Christmas gifts, when she suddenly developed a listing. Several rescue attempts were made before she was towed out of the harbor where she sank later that same day. The wreck rest today some150 meters outside Curaqua Mega wharf on a depth of 20 to 30 meter standing on her keel.
