Trident - P 01

Trident was a patrol boat built by Brookes Marine in England, and was launched in 1981 for the Coast Guard in Barbados. After years of service she was replaced by the more modern HMBS Trident in the late 2000's, and she was primarily used as a training ship until she was decommissioned. She was deliberately scuttled as an artificial reef and dive attraction 28. April 2016 in a joint operation between the Coast Guard and Barbados Blue divers. The wreck rest today standing on her keel like a classic Donald Duck wreck on a depth of 18 meter in Carlisle Bay Marine Park. Also see the nearby wrecks of Bajan Queen, Berwyn, Eillon, Friars Craig and the Greek freighter Stavronikita.
