Veronica L was a former Jamaican coastal freighter either confiscated by the local authorities, or abandoned, the stories vary on this detail and sank due to lack of maintenance inside St. George harbor 25. January 1993. Due to construction of a new cruise ship terminal ,the wreck was re-floated and loaded on a barge and scuttled outside the St, George harbor as an artificial reef and dive attraction. She rest today standing on her keel like a classic Donald Duck wreck on a depth of 14 to 18 meter right outside Grand Anse Beach.
