Don Hugo was a cargo steamer built by David Unlop & Company in Port Glasgow, and was launched in 1899 for the British company Rio Tinto in London. She was sold in 1915 to Yeoward Bros Ltd in Liverpool and renamed Alondra. Under a journey from Las Palmas to Liverpool loaded with general goods, she hit ground in heavy fog outside Baltimore harbor 29. December 1916. She was written of as a total loss, and fourteen men of her crew lost their lives in the accident. The battered remains of her rest today south of Kedge Island on a depth of 5 to 20 meters.
