Argo Delos


Argo Delos was a cargo ship built by Koninklijke Maatschappi De Schelde an yard number 294 in Holland, and was launched in 1958. Under a journey from Glasgow to Cuba loaded in ballast she hit ground and broke in two outside Malin Head 22. October 1960. The wrecked hull was taken in tow, but the stern section sank soon after, while the bow was beached at Tor Beg. The wreck of the bow section rest today at Tor Beg, while the rest of the ship rest on a depth of 32 to 44 meter in Culdaff Bay.
