Jurgen Fritzen

Baron
Jedburg was a steam freighter laid down by Rodger
& Company in Glasgow, and was launched in 1912.
She changed names and owners a few times before she
ended up sailing for the German company Fritzen &
Sohn in 1939 under the name Jurgen Fritzen. The year
after she was lost during a journey from Stettin to
Stockholm when she hit ground outside Landsort
21.April 1940 and sank. She was soon written of
as a total loss, and the wreck rest today east of Öja on
a depth of 65 to 75 meter.
