The
steamer Nedjan was built in Scotland as Wellpark and was
launched in 1893. She had a pretty straightforward career
and survived two world wars. She was sold to a Swedish
owner and renamed Nedjan in 1922. Under a journey from
Gävle to Ipswich loaded with wood 9.January 1954 she hit
ground and sank. The wreck was found in 1993 north of
Eggegrund on a depth of 32 meter.
