Oliveira e Carmo was a Baptista de Andrade class corvette built in Spain for the Portuguese Navy, and was launched in February 1974. She was built for service in the colonies but after the decolonization in the 1970's she was assigned as a patrol boat in Portuguese waters. She was stricken from the navy lists in 1999. In the mid 2000's it was decided to sink her as an artificial reef as part of the Ocean Revival Project in Portimao Park. After being rigged down and prepared, she was scuttled outside Algarve 30. October 2012. A storm broke the wreck in two, and she rest today in two parts on a depth of 16 to 32 meter.
