Olshana
was a Atlantic 333 stern type trawler laid down at
Volkswerft VEB in Stralsund, and was launched in 1984 for
a Russian fishing company. She hit ground 2.August
2007 at Flesjarnar on a journey from Kollafjordur to the
open seas for fishing. The crew abandoned ship, and she
was towed of the reef next morning, but barely ten minutes
after she broke loose she disappeared in the deep and sank
in deep waters. The wreck rest today on a depth of 55 to
75 meter outside Munkurin.
