The
German T-34 was a type 1939 class torpedo boat built by
Schichau Werke in Elbing and was launched in October
1943. She entered service in the Kriegsmarine under
command of Kapitänleutnant Freiherr von Lüttitz in August the
following year. 20.November 1944 she sailed on a
mine laid out by the Soviet submarine L-3 under command
of Vladimir Konovalov and sank with the loss of 62 men.
The wreck rest upside-down on a depth of 38 to 47 meter
northeast of the island Rügen.
