HMS Warrior

HMS Warrior was an armored cruiser built in Wales in England, and was launched in 1905. She stood ready two years later and was assigned to Home Fleet until 1913. She was then sent to the Mediterranean until the outbreak of World War One. She returned to Devonport and was transferred to 1st Cruiser squadron. She participated in the Battle of Jutland 31.May 1916, and was hit fifteen times by 280mm grenades and a further six hits by 150mm grenades. Heavily damaged she had to retreat from battle and was taken in tow. On her way back to England she sank the following morning. The wreck was found in August 2016 and rest today upside down on a depth of 76 to 80 meter.
