Orkney Islands,Europe

The barge YC 21 was used under salvage operations on the wreck of F 2 in Gutter Sound in the 1960's but was lost during a storm 15. November 1968. Barges are not easily tracked down historically, so technical details are sparse, as is her history. The wreck of this wooden barge rest some twenty meters away from the wreck of F 2, standing on her keel as a classic Donald Duck wreck on a depth of 14 to 18 meter. Also see some of the other Scapa Flow wrecks; Cöln, Dresden, F2, Karlsruhe, König, Kronprinz Wilhelm, Markgraf, and V 83.
