The steamer Brioni was built by Navale Triestino in Monfalcone in Italy, and was launched in 1909. She sailed for the company Österreichiser Lloyds in Trieste, and survived the First World War unharmed. In 1925 she was sold to the Italian company Societa Anonima di Navigazone in Bari. and under a journey from Split to Lissa loaded with tobacco and wine, she struck ground and sank outside the island of Ravnik 2. February 1930. The wreck rest today on a depth of 38 to 65 meter, half a nautical mile outside Rukavac on the east side of Ravnik island.
