The
Italian corvette C20 Gazella was built in Livorno and
launched in May 1942 for service in Regia Marina, the
Italian navy. She was a Gabbiano class corvette built for
anti-submarine warfare and escort duties. Her service for
the navy didnt last long. She went down after hitting a
mine north of Sardinia 5.August 1943 and the wreck rest
today on a depth of approx 25 meter.
