Keizersgracht
was a coastal freighter laid down by Van Diepen in
Groningen, and was launched in 1960 for the Dutch company
Spliethoff's Bevrachtingskantoor N.V in Amsterdam. She was
sold to Armando Scotto Lavino in Naples in 1971 and
renamed Elviscot. Under a journey from Taranto to
Marseilles in ballast she developed a leak and had to set
course for land. She soon after hit ground outside Pomante
10. January 1972. The
wreck rest today on a depth of 5 to 14 meter southwest of
the island Elba at Ogliera
Rock barely two hundred meters from shore.
