Kaptan Ismail Hakki


Kaptan Ismail Hakki was a coastal freighter built by Gesan Shipyard in Turkey, and was launched in 1969. She was the first purpose built vessel for the Turkish company Devan Shipping Group, and was fitted and completed at Halic Berth in 1970. She went down in the deep outside Lakonia loaded with iron ore 30. January 1978 when her cargo shifted and she foundered. The wreck rest on her port side on a depth of 5 to 13 meter about one hundred meters from shore in Agia Marina bay near Lakonia.
