Karwela
was a former passenger and tourist ferry that was sold to
Comino Company Ltd in Malta in 1986. Also here she did
service as a passenger and tourist ferry until 2002. She
was was scuttled 12.August 2006 to create an artificial
reef and dive attraction outside the island of Gozo. The
wreck rest today on her keel on a depth of 30 to 44 meter
west of Xatt I-Ahmar southeast of Gozo.
